Parasound Debuts Two ZoneMaster™ Custom Installation Amplifiers

SAN FRANCISCO (9/23/20) -- Parasound has added a pair of two-channel and four-channel power amplifiers to its ZoneMaster™ line for professional audio systems installers. The Parasound ZoneMaster ZM 2 and ZM 4 pack a lot of power into relatively small packages with each channel rated at 150 watts into the typical 4-ohm and 2-ohm loads of architectural speakers, and 120 watts for 8-ohm hi-fi speakers. SAN FRANCISCO (6/4/20) — Parasound has introduced a 12-channel, 2-ohm stable power amplifier for commercial and residential audio systems installers with flexible power options for stereo audio in six rooms (zones), and up to 24 individual speakers. Uniquely, the Parasound ZoneMaster™ ZM 12 drives two channels at 120 watts each, 8 ohms, with the remaining 10 channels at 60 watts each. With 4-ohm speakers typical of architectural audio, the ratings are 150 and 100 watts respectively. There are also A and B speaker outputs for each channel. SAN FRANCISCO (4/11/19) — Parasound is turning its most-affordable preamplifier and DAC design into its most-affordable integrated amplifier and DAC with the addition of a 110-watt per channel power amplifier stage. Parasound Ships New Zdac V.2 DAC and headphone Amp to Dealers

SAN FRANCISCO (11/10/14) – Parasound has announced that it is now shipping its new Zdac V.2 Digital Audio Converter (DAC) and headphone Amplifier to dealers.

The Parasound Zdac V.2 follows on the success of the original Zdac, adding enhanced preamplifier features, a new headphone amplifier with increased gain and dual output jacks, and improved system integration with 12-volt triggers. Lightning jack equipped Apple iOS devices can now send digital audio directly to the Zdac V.2's USB port (Apple Lighting to USB adapter required).

Zdac V.2 adds a high-slew-rate headphone amplifier to prevent the odd-order distortions that contribute to listening fatigue. Its low 10 ohm output impedance combined with higher gain allows it to drive phones up to 600 ohms. Parasound Introduces its Halo A 31 250-Watt Three-channel Home Theater Power Amplifier

Parasound has added a powerful new three-channel power amplifier to its premium Halo product family. The THX Ultra2 certified Parasound Halo A 31, which is rated at 250 RMS watts per channel, is sonically identical to the company's renowned five channel Halo A 51 and two channel Halo A 21 amplifiers.
